TECHNICAL Features

Kinds of automatic modes of operation: 1. Temperature drying mode – in hot and humid environment, the unit automatically run dry and cool mode, the unit heat generated by the cooling water discharged to the atmosphere. 2. Thermostat drying mode – in the temperature meet requirements, the thermostat dry, dry air under constant temperature conditions. 3. Heating drying mode – at low temperature cold, damp environment, the unit automatically heated drying mode, does not reduce the indoor temperature to dry.

Most rice dryers working on heating the air for drying process, blowing the air through wet rice paddy to evaporate water from the rice. This process requires large amount of energy to supply the heat for water evaporation as well as to heat the air, which is used as the carrier. The performance of traditional dryers depends heavily on ambient conditions, especially ambient relative humidity. On a summer days, a batch of rice can be dried in six to ten hours. On a rainy day, it could well take three times as long and three times as much the energy consumption.

The drying system presented today is a complete departure from the traditional way to build a dryer. This system uses two technologies to achieve the task we made the unit dry air out of wet air, and make heat out of humidity. Drying by dehumidification is the most effective, energy efficient and economic way to dry your products

 There are several limitations associated with traditional sun drying. During periods of intermittent and particularly during continuous rainfall, fish, meat, sea foods, drying is not possible and the risks or material losses are high. Sun drying is slow and weather dependent compared the other alternative drying systems. Dry fish quality may be low due to contamination by dust, dirt, stones and insects, while direct crop losses from theft and livestock consumption can be high. Sun drying also suffers from a high labour requirement and excessive material handling particularly in periods of inclement weather which can result in high costs, material damage and a loss in quality. Since good design is essential for the long-term reputation of the technology, scanair shall be addressing ourselves to installers, manufacturers and consulting engineers.

A bacterium requires a high humidity to survive and to multiply if the humidity level of the surrounding air is kept below 40% RH most bacteria will not survive. The limit is especially important when drying fish, meat, dry sea food, products which are susceptible to bacteria.
